As the workplace environments change through COVID-19, more people are considering remote working and working from home as a semi-permanent, if not permanent solution. This makes garden offices an even more attractive prospect than before. Working from your bedroom or living room is not a sustainable solution for many. You may find that the distractions of home life have a negative effect on your productivity or you simply want to separate your home life from work life.
Regardless of your choice for requiring a garden office, our team will design and construct a stunning alternative office to enhance your productivity and boost your morale. We could even design it to double up as a part-time summer house or attach a pergola to the exterior for relaxed summer evenings.

Whether youโre looking to get rid of your old shed or you require a new space to store garden furniture, equipment or logs, our log cabins and garden storage rooms offer a versatile solution.
Our log chains can also be designed to transform into a summer house or even a home gym. If this is something youโre considering, please include this in your email or mention it on your phone call with our team.
Summerhouses are one of the most popular garden room builds we offer. Attractive, elegant and quick to construct, our oak summerhouses are perfect for relaxing in the summer sun and taking in the beauty of your garden. Most summerhouse builds feature large windows to flood the room with light.
Or, you could choose to have smaller windows to allow for a quiet retreat from your busy home life or to relax after work.

As a family-run company of over 35 years, we understand the importance of customer satisfaction and experience. This dedication to quality extends into our design ethos, as we are currently the only oak construction company in the UK who have been awarded the Q-Mark certification.
Additionally, your garden building comes with a fully comprehensive 10-year guarantee, offering peace of mind for years to come.
If you find another, cheaper oak garden room online or elsewhere, we will match the price and guarantee to beat its quality with our Q-Mark certified garden rooms.
Weโll look after you, you simply provide us with your design requirements, what type of garden room you require, your design demands and your budget. We can then draw up some design plans to show you how your garden room should look once constructed.

English Heritage Buildings price each garden room based on your requirements to ensure youโre getting the best return on investment. The price of your garden room mainly depends on its size and any additional customization requirements. However, you can expect to pay anywhere between ยฃ800 and ยฃ1,600 per square metre depending on the company you choose.
If you plan to live or even sleep in a garden room, you will likely need to apply for planning permission.
This depends on the skill, time and budget of the individual. An experienced carpenter may be able to save some money on the labour costs, but garden rooms will require at least two people to efficiently build. They will also take longer to build if fewer people are involved.

We are oak frame specialists, with nearly 40 years of experience producing high-quality oak buildings, and this expertise is demonstrated through both our industry accreditations and our awards.

English Heritage Buildings holds a BM Trada Q-Mark for our oak framed buildings, the only UK company to do so. This showcases the unbeatable quality of our products.

We were proud to recently receive the South East Best Rural Manufacturing Business Award.
