BUILD Award Win – Best Timber Construction Company UK

English Heritage Building is proud to announce it has been awarded a coveted BUILD Award 2017, naming it the Best Timber Construction Company in the UK.

Based on its use of specialist machinery that utilises traditional construction techniques and the eco-qualities of its materials, English Heritage Buildings has reaped an incredible win for its work with Green Oak, constructing oak frame buildings.

The oak frame manufacturer offers a range of products, from garages, garden rooms and home extensions to commercial buildings such as offices, tearooms and wedding venues. English Heritage Buildings is the first to receive the recently launched BUILD Award and looks forward to continuing to pioneer traditional English craftsmanship using modern engineering methods.

Alongside this accolade, English Heritage Buildings is still the only oak frame building supplier with BM TRADA Q-mark Certification.

The BM TRADA Q-mark is a quality assurance scheme that confirms the company is designing, manufacturing and erecting its buildings to an agreed standard. To achieve TRADA accreditation English Heritage Buildings follows a clearly documented quality control system throughout the manufacturing process. This is verified and audited by TRADA each year to ensure a consistently high standard of product.

As well as confirming that English Heritage Buildings only uses quality materials that perform to a high standard, the scheme demonstrates complete compliance with the relevant standards and also the requirements of UK Building Regulations.
