We are more than happy to offer a fully bespoke design service that will ensure your new timber frame garden room meets your specific needs. We understand that you will want your purchase to be as unique to your requirements and tastes as possible, so we will do everything we can to make sure the freestanding garden room or extension you have ordered is just right for what you have in mind.
All you need to do is choose the foundation design you would like, describe any amendments you need to be made to the original, and tell us about any specifications you have for your property. From this, we will draw up a set of plans for you. If you haven’t yet decided on a design, you may also wish to take a look at our gallery and select the one which suits you best from the garden room kit options presented.
You may also wish to read on and find out more about some of the possible uses for your timber frame garden room once it has been installed:
In recent times, working from home has become something of a necessity for many. If this applies to you, or even if you simply feel like you may be more productive when getting some fresh air and working that little bit closer to nature, then we can provide you with a contemporary solution that will suit your needs entirely.
Our garden offices can be created to suit any size space you have available, with door openings and glass for windows cut to the dimensions specified. Every finish offers glazed gables and finished floor levels, and we will even install insulation in the walls if you know you’ll need your office space all year round.
Having your own hobby space could be a dream come true, and we’re here to help make it a reality. If you’re in need of extra room to turn into an art or photography studio, a potter’s or carpenter’s workshop, or even a place to tinker with machines and mechanisms, we will provide exactly what you need. We can even cut the windows of your new purchase to ensure as much natural light is let in as possible, or include skylights in your room’s design if this offers you the bright space you need to be creative.
If you’ve been considering saving money on gym memberships by exercising at home, or even if you just prefer privacy when working out, then a garden room from our range will provide the answer for you. With our help you can arrange to build a home gym of any size, so you can store any equipment you already own (from weights and bars, to mats, machines, and medicine balls).
If you like the idea of having your very own peaceful spot for meditation and yoga, our garden rooms will be perfect for this as well.
If you’ve always wanted to turn your back garden into the perfect spot for family get-togethers in the summer, or the ideal space for a friendly drink and al fresco dining with your nearest friends, then having your very own summer house for outdoor living may offer the space you need. We can craft your purchase to be as large as you need to fit your entire family or friend group, or we can make it a smaller, cosier space for you to sit back and enjoy a book in peace and quiet if you’d prefer.
We understand that there may not always be room in your home for everything you need to keep. This is why we’re always available to help you create a modern-looking shed that offers complete durability and protection from the elements, no matter what you need to be kept safe in storage. Whether you’re putting away outdoor furniture, logs for a woodburner, or garden and power tools for work around the home, we will work with you to provide the secure space you need.
It’s also possible for us to build your timber frame garden room onto your property if you have been thinking about extensions to your home. This opens up a range of opportunities for you if you like the idea of blending spaces, or having a quick walk between the main part of your house and your own office, summer living room, or hobby area.

In most cases, timber or oak frame buildings that are freestanding once finished will not need planning permission. This is because they fall within the terms of permitted development. However, this may change if your plans include a larger complex, or if you are looking at adding any garden rooms as extensions to your home. To learn more about this, please see our advice on permitted development and planning permission.
