Once the frame is designed, there is really no limit to how you can fill it. Do you prefer a pub or bar? Which drinks will you load the bar up with? Your garden room bar is yours to do with what you will, but we have listed three ideas below to get your creative juices flowing.

Will Your Garden Room Bar Need Planning Permission?
One of the best things about our garden room bars is that, in most cases, they do not require any planning permission or building regulations. Garden rooms are generally classed as outbuildings, so one can be built as long as you follow certain rules.
- Your garden room bar is not in front of your house.
- The total area of your garden room bar does not cover over 50% of the land around your home.
- Your garden room bar is a single-storey build and is also less than 3 metres high.
- The eaves of your garden room bar are not raised more than 2.5 metres over ground level.
- There is no balcony or raised area.
- It is not fitted to be a self-contained living space, i.e. with plumbing.
As long as your garden room bar complies with the rules above, there should be no need for it to have planning permission beforehand. Another option, to reduce the shrinkage of your oak frame, is Structural Insulated Panels (or, SIPs) – these are normally installed outside of your garden room bar.
