We love what we do and we take pride in the high quality products we offer to our customers. Each kit we make will be a bespoke craft, built to the specifications of the buyer and styled to their intended uses. As such, you may rest assured that the space you have planned will always be suited to your needs when you order the frames from us.
We understand the frustrations that come with finding out you need planning permission, just as you are starting to build your ideal home improvement feature. That’s why we always recommend checking before you begin, because how you intend to build your lean-to could determine whether or not you need permission. Where you live in the UK and how you intend to use the structure could also play a role in this.
To find out more and to learn what we can do to help, please see our guide on planning permission.
We will work closely with you to plan the cost of your oak lean-to kit, so you’ll be able to see exactly what you’ve paid for in the finished result. As such, every kit we make will have a price quote that matches the individual needs and specifications of our customers.
The work we carry out will usually be priced between £5,000 and £30,000, depending on what you need for your property. To see how your oak lean-to may therefore be worked into your household budget, speak with us on the phone or send us a message with your specifications today.

Every oak framed building and structure we provide is Q-Mark certified. All of our timber is sourced from a site we have designated in France, with the wood taken from specially cultivated green oak (Quercus Robur and Quercus Petraea). This durable wood offers the strength needed in garage kits and lean-tos, while never compromising on the beautiful finish the timber frames can also provide for extensions and joined gazebos
To ensure that our work is kept sustainable and minimises waste production, we will also plant new trees whenever one is used in the manufacturing process. These will then be grown as tall and straight as possible, so that more wood can be used from one tree. It also ensures that less land is taken up by our work.

We want nothing more than to keep both our staff and our customers safe, and we are doing everything we can to keep our work Covid-19 friendly wherever possible. This means taking all possible precautions and adhering to the regulations set, including ensuring our members of staff are wearing masks and keeping to social distancing rules.
Once you’ve confirmed that you’re happy with your order and have settled the deposit payment, together with signed drawing, quotation and terms and conditions, we will craft your kit and see that it is sent out to you. Any product provided by us should be ready within six to eight weeks of the work being signed off, and should arrive at its destination shortly after.
How long it will take to build your lean-to room, garage, carport or extension all depends on the size of your chosen kit. For smaller products, this will most likely take several weeks, and may extend up to a month.
When considering the potential cost of your dream oak lean-to, there are a few other factors that you may wish to include:
– What the lean-to will be used for (whether as a garage and workshop, an extension of your property, a sheltered gazebo for your garden, etc.)
– The style of frame or cross section you wish to use
– Access and security requirements for your property
If you have made it almost to the end of the planning process but you haven’t factored these elements into the work, you don’t have to worry. Our friendly team will be there to discuss each with you, helping you to find the best oak framed structures for your budget.
If you have any further questions about our green oak lean-tos and our building process, answers can be found on our comprehensive FAQs page.
