Do you have a passion for sales and a desire to work in a unique and exciting industry? Look no further! We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as an External Sales Consultant/Account Manager for our bespoke oak frame building company, located in the beautiful countryside of East Sussex.

As our External Sales Consultant/Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to work remotely from home for four days a week, with one day in the office. You will be servicing prospective clients generated by our extensive marketing activities, utilizing a variety of communication channels. You will have the support of our qualified team to ensure that you are working with qualified leads.

Your main duties will include establishing customer requirements, preparing quotations and supporting information, and managing the sales process from start to finish. You will also be responsible for ensuring orders are passed to production and monitoring internal processes.

Don’t worry if you don’t have experience in the oak frame industry, as we provide full training to successful candidates. What we do need from you is a proven track record in sales, the ability to understand client briefs and turn them into product quotations, and experience using CRM systems and the Microsoft Office suite. A driving license and personal transportation are essential.

Main Duties:

  • Dealing with sales enquiries via email/website, telephone and face-to-face meetings
  • Establishing the needs of customer requirements
  • Preparation of quotations and supporting information for customers
  • Carry out customer site visits when required
  • Follow-up quotations and handling through to order
  • Ensure orders are passed to production, to fulfil customers’ needs in a timely manner
  • Achieve agreed sales targets generated through sales activity
  • Monitor internal processes and keep all relevant information updated

Skills Required:

  • Product-based sales: 2 years (required)
  • A driving licence is essential and personal transportation is required.
  • Proven history of closing sales
  • Focus and drive
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Self-organised
  • Able to understand client brief and turn into product quotation
  • Experience of using CRM systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

Job Offer:

OTE £64,000

Hours: Flexible

Pay: Uncapped Commissions

Training: Full Product and technical training will be provided
